'By the power of truth, I while living, have conquered the universe' - C. Marlowe

Nothing in this world is certain. We do not know anything. All we know is what we believe. Nothing makes any sense. We are all floating in space in a sphere, and everything meets everywhere. Love and hate is connected, East meets West, its a random jungle and we are all the big joke. It's all the same and none of it is complete. There is no concrete in space. No solid ground. We are floating in quicksand. None of it is certain therefore you cannot hold on to anything. But you have to hold on to something not to drown. You can't float by yourself, you need solid ground. So what is solid ground? Truth? But truth can only be truth if you want it to be true. Everyone can find a truth, if they believe in it. It can keep you afloat. You have to hold on to something, you have to believe in something, or else you'll drown. But believing in nothing is still believing in something, you can't just continuously ask why, because there are no answers, you have to, at some stage, stop questioning, and just have faith. Nothing is certain. The truth is what you make it, we create our own truths. But it is very powerful, because it is the only thing that will make anyone float. And I think floating is important, because the perspective is clear, you can look down and see what is happening, and be part of it but separate from it. Some people call it enlightenment, but whatever, the point is the power of it. It conquers the universe, but it stops you questioning (because you think you have the answer to everything), but it also enables you to change anything, to change everything! However I can't help but feel that it is not an answer but more of a scapegoat. Is it cowardly? I don't know, but I don't think so, it's probably the opposite, it's not easy to believe something that's not certain, even though nothing is certain. How can you believe in something that you create if you doubt yourself? And if you choose not to doubt yourself, how can you know that what you believe is good? If you aim to do good. Life's a paradox, and the only way to float is to step away from it, and look with widened perspective. But even so, how can you know that you stepped away in the right direction? What if your view is limited? How can you believe in anything, if nothing is certain. The only way anyone can do that is to close their senses. But if you close your senses you stop interacting in the world.

What is the point of really knowing and believing if it isolates you?
